When living a lifestyle like these rappers, I'm surprised they're not in ER more often.

Surprised Wayne is still alive. I don't see him making it to 40.

 

Considering the Stones might be one of the few groups that kicked out a member for drug use, or the obvious performance and attendance issues that stemmed from it, I don't think Richards did significantly more than anyone. I think his appearance and dress made him an easy reference for comedians in the '80s, and people just picked up on the meme. But honest to goodness coke heads like Little Richie or Andy Gibb (at least until the end) never got that same stigma.
