Why do you say that? If Feldman pitches up to his track record, along with how he's been out of the pen, it is better than what Fiers has given thus far.... And more chance for consistency. Devenski was far more impressive out of the pen. He may have just enough stuff to be very good in shorter stints... But when he tries to conserve it, it becomes more hittable. EDIT: My bad, mis-read your original post...
Right. Fiers is not dependable so Devenski, Feldman or Musgrove, should be given a shot back in the rotation.
Just curious as to why Feldman had a much much quicker leash than Fiers. I feel like Divenski (spelling) could put up at least slightly better numbers, or if you plan on making Gregerson the 7th inning man, then give Feliz a shot, or pike a few others stated, maybe it's time to give Musgrove the shot.
Fiers has had 6 good starts out of 11, that's not good. But it's probably as much as we could possibly expect out of Feldman. Feldman has been good in the pen, leave him there If we are going to move on from Fiers in the rotation, needs to be Devenskiwho gave up 2, 1 and 2 earned before the Boston ripping which lost him his rotation spot. He also has 4 outings of 3+ innings out of the pen in which he has given up a total of 1 earned If they are willing to bring up Musgrove, that would be awesome. If not then let's put Devenski back in the rotation
Yeah I prefer Devenski or Musgrove as well. Good to see the team showing some fight tonight against the Rangers. Tied it back up.
