Wouldn't be surprised if Kerr has Iguodala mirror James' substitution patterns all series long. James shot terribly in last year's Finals when Iggy was his primary defender.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out and if the Ty Lue move to more space and offense will actually bite them in the butt. The way to beat the Warriors, assuming you have talent, seems to be to play big, physical, rebound, limit turnovers. It's hard to see how Irving and Love, who are lesser versions or Klay and Green, can hold up their end... Much less the supporting cast thereafter... Without slowing down the game and playing physical... Which isn't their strong suit.
I agree playing big is the best way to beat them. Unfortunately for Cleveland they have to play big and win 4 times. The issue is that's not possible. Klay and Curry go off from 3 when teams try and play big. It might work for 1-2 games, but impossible to do and win 4 games out of 6.
So ppl said Cavs were loaded during eastern conference playoffs. One Finals game after, it is King and his garbage team again. LOL.
You put him on any East team they are getting to the finals. If you put him on any west team he is getting to at least the WCF.
That's been his whole career. Everyone he plays with is garbage. Forget how good they were before LeBron, they are garbage so keep finding more help for LeBron! No one ever stops to think about how LeBron's style and heavy usage is what hurts his teammates. He can rack up all the assists he wants, he never makes his teammates better. He relegates them to spot up shooters. He's an all time great, but he's one of the biggest stat padders of all time IMO. If he were 6'5 and weighed 30 lbs less, he'd be James Harden. This will carry on for the rest of his career unless he learns how to dominate in the post and allow a good point guard to have the ball in his hands and create for him and his teammates. He's never improved anything. LeBron today is Lebron at 24. Just a half step slower running and lower jumping. He's just a big bulldozing dude with no post up, no mid range and no 3 ball. Who knows? Maybe he's a freak of nature as far as health and longevity like Karl Malone and he will make another decade of a career out of it, but i doubt it. Once that athletic ability goes, so goes his entire game.
