After thinking about it for a week I have come to the conclusion that I have become excited by the hire. Our offense sucked last year all it was, was harden dribble for 23 secs the throw it to ariza for the bricked shot. Now hopefully we will run some plays, if not harden shoots or passes within 7 seconds not 23.
this is hyperbolic. no way next season is worse than last. he's not the best coach we could have hired but he is better than the ones we had. no way james comes fat to camp again. no dwight to strain the chemistry. MORE BEASLEY.
That is really the only hope. If you look at D'Antoni with Lakers and Knicks, he didn't have the players that he needed and they actually ran an insane amount of isoball because the players couldn't do what he wanted and he needed to try something. If Morey can actually get the players around Harden that D'Antoni needs, the hope is that the energy and trusting of others players get from being more engaged on offense leads to more energy and trusting other players on defense. Also, if they get some players who will actually hit shots at a better clip, they can get back and get set better as well.

Let's see if he mentions Durant, Kobe, or Dwight. I'm going to say he is going to mention the Warriors, 0 for Cavs. A lot of 'I', very few 'We'.
It depends on what happens in free agency. But it's not crazy to suggest that the Rockets wind up worse than last season recordwise. They were surprisingly lucky with injuries last year(especially compared to the year before). They won't have Dwight anymore even in his deteriorating state. They currently only have Beasley and Harrell at the PF spot. They only have Bev at the PG spot. Ariza is on the decline. Brewer is a scrub. And Capela is still young and raw and can't hit a free throw to save his life. If they don't land at least a few decent free agents, I could easily see them struggling to match their 41-41 finish from last year. Especially with several young teams in the West(Utah, Minnesota) on the rise.
