im in korea right now and i was watching the sports highlights on cnn... they showed yao taking a pretty hard fall on his elbow. he left the game but came back a little later. he wasnt as effective after the fall. i hope he didnt break anything. being 7'5", thats a long way to fall...

The final is on Oct 1 12:30pm EST. If Yao did get hurt it must have happened in a previous game. I hope and pray that he will be fit and healthy for the final and the entire NBA season.
Well to be fair to danny317, he didnt say it was the championship game. What he was watching might be 'highlights' from a pervious game. But I agree he should have make it more clear.
It looks awful. The extent of the injury might not be known until a few days but we all hope that it's a minor one and that he will be fit tomorrow.
