the fact that was the first thing he said seemed to make his point about what he thought of the refs. mentioned it again later, too.

also i was looking forward to the durant/westbrook podium. i knew russell would be mad and that laugh proved it.

We've been complaining about the refs even throughout the OKC blowouts. Draymond Green has earned enough flagrants and technicals to be suspended for the series, yet the league allows him to play.

Moving screens, tackles, suplexes, taunting, kicks in the balls, you name it, he gets away with it.

The only way the league possibly suspends him is if he kills someone on the court. Even then, I doubt they'd suspend him. He's had enough reckless and dangerous plays.

Per ESPN Stats and Information, Russell Westbrook is 8-of-25 FG with 7 turnovers when Steph Curry is his primary defender in this series.

Also, how you feel about the ref always depends on who you want to win... funny how it works? Dubs fans, even Kerr, can point out all the bad calls they get too, esp when they lose. Kerr mentioned bad calls flustered the dubs players and then they got blown out.

Lol, this place has turned into an OKC Thunder/Anti-GSW message board. Not even a shred of objectivity any longer exists for most people.

Donovan sure didn't complain when his team enjoyed a significant ft advantage in the three games that they won.

GSW still haven't played well in my opinion. If they can put together a complete game and win game 6, it's over for OKC, because I don't think they will win a game 7 at Oracle.

Game 6 will be OKC's super bowl and they're favored to win by 2 points. Their role players have to step up and take some of the pressure off of Durant and RWB. OKC has a pretty short rotation to begin with and Durant and RWB logged heavy mins during game 5 and will have to do so during game 6 as well. Fatigue might become a factor.

GSW can try to see if those two alone can beat them and do their best to shut out their role players similar to what they did tonight. That would be risky, but it might be worth a try.

 

Hopefully this is just talk and mind games. Curry is an underrated defender and he stole KD's lunch on the defensive end in the 4th quarter. OKC needs to respect their opponents and not put themselves in situations where they get robbed by their overconfidence. KD doesn't have an advantage against Curry on top of the key trying to ISO. If you want to exploit him, you get the ball in the high post and just back him down. I hope Donovan is making these adjustments.

 

Perhaps it's because OKC has been playing stiffling defense maybe???

 

I hope they can get back to playing defense the way they did in OKC and play more controlled on the offensive end.Finish it off in Game 6!!

Also don't let Green get back into a groove. When he scores, rebounds, blocks, assists, like he did last game, GS is very hard to beat.

Some of you guys are unbelievable. If you really want to talk about fouls, then whoever was guarding Curry should have fouled out in the 1st few minutes. It's incredible how much holding the refs allow OKC players got away with, those guys basically locked Curry with both of their arms/hands, he couldn't move without push away. The did the same to Thompson.

This is the only game the GSW had more FTs, because they finally decided to take it to the basket, since OKC put so much emphasize on defending the 3pt.

OKC has played at the top of their game, but it has more to do with the Warriors played bad than anything else. The GSW lost to the Spurs in their first meeting, when the Spurs used the same strategy, deny 3pt, switch on every pick. After that, the Warriors decided to just take the mismatch, and attack the basket. They didn't do that until last game, I expect them to do the same tomorrow.
