Meh...such a letdown. I obviously will be rooting for thus to work. I guess what frustrates me the most, is that it seems like less just strong armed Morey. If you are an owner you need to let the people you hired do their jobs. For an organization that claims to be forward thinking this feels like a move that would have made more sense 10 years ago.
This whole interview process was a sham They knew they were hiring D'antoni when they fired McHale Rocket River
This quote came to mind: "You're the smartest guy I ever met... but you're too stupid to see... He made up his mind ten minutes ago." - Hank, Breaking Bad

I've started detaching from my annual "donation" to the NBA for league pass. Getting pissed on by the owner is getting beyond tiresome. I'll always be a fan of the Rockets. Les Alexander happens to be the fool that owns the team.
I guess fans are just hot garbage for Les Alexander. He does not care at all how the fans are thinking. Fans are just a bunch of fools to buy tickets in the eyes of Les Alexander.
The Rockets will be better next year. I am not worried about that. My concern is that the team is going to lose a lot of very smart and good people in the front office because of an impulsive owner. As far as a "staff"... The coaches they are HOPING to get aren't that impressive. What does it tell you that Hollins won't work with D'Antoni? Nate Tibbetts? Nope. Jack Sikma? Nope. James Borrego? Nope. Adrian Griffin? Nope Popeye Jones? Nope. Elston Turner? Nope.
