just explaning what's wrong with it dude, you can't refute that it's a ridiculous narrative tho. OKC won 55 games with WB & Durant. How much more Houston should've won with Harden alone? Was Dwight a legit second star this year?
A million times? Just last month (April 11th, to be exact) you posted this: What happened between then and now? Bear in mind, this is a regular season award.
Hopefully everyone knows by now how this goes down and isn't too upset. This is how All-NBA & MVP voting happens nowadays: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/bOSdtsJg_LU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Stat-wise, he should beat out Lillard and Lowry. Even if you take into account Harden's lack of defense, he should still be there over Lillard. Either way, I ain't mad. It's not like All-NBA selections mean anything. Harden doesn't care, either. This won't light a fire under him (lol at people who believe anything will).
No, it's effort. Lillard isn't at talented as Harden, but his effort is never in question, Harden has the talent to be just a LOT better than he was this season but he chose to be lackadaisical on the court far too often. I mean, you don't break 38 year old records for ineptitude while doing your best if you are as good as Harden can be.
The NBA needs to make their official awards be in house only. Either just front office and coaches or players or a combo of both get to vote. No media.
WOW Haters are celebrating this, lol. "James Harden snubbed from All NBA Team, DD, YOLO, and, Os Trigonum celebrate" Petty.
Maybe Harden fans should stop blaming the media and start blaming Morey then. He built the team and assembled the **** roster with no coaching that surrounds Harden. If it's "everyone else's" fault that Harden plays zero defense and sets the turnover record, blame the guy responsible for "everyone else". The media does whatever it wants. I don't care if Harden never makes an all star game again if the Rockets start winning championships.
tbh if the rockets had established a winning record or reached the same # of wins portland did atleast I think he sneaks in on a team. You have to remember Lillard has been getting snubbed throughout his career on numerous occasions. All the cards were in his favor on this one and was a great opportunity to reward him finally from the league. Again when it comes to the depth someone is going to get left off when the criteria widens
It's also convenient how the media basically says Houston under performed which is why Harden was left off, but last year they were downplaying the fact that Houston was over performing by so much so that they could give the MVP to Curry over Harden.
Rockets played way below expectation. Portland played way above expectation and see what happens. Hopefully this can make Harden play more for win on both ends instead of personal offensive stats.
Why not? I mean...other than the blind narrative pushing...why is this true? Harden was very upset last year when he did not win MVP. Harden was very upset when we got eliminated by Portland and Golden State in the playoffs. I'm sure there have been many other instances where Harden cared a lot and was very upset. What makes you think Harden doesn't care?
I don't think there is anything wrong with a little apathy, especially after this season. However, some of us seem to be just reveling in every bad thing that is said about the Rockets and the players. I think it's pitiful.
Because after getting gentlemanly swept in the WCF he came to camp out of shape and didn't give two craps about defense. He got his TV girlfriend, $200mil shoe deal and just came back like he won the championship and dint get better...he got WORSE.
oh shut up. no where am i celebrating. I'm here providing explanations on pretty much I see were the deciding factors. you on the other hand nothing. why? bc you fail to be objective. try positing something relevant to the actual topic or just don't bother replying to me.
