Seriously, how freaking tired is the Shawn Bradley reference? Note to Peter May: that was last year's knock. Further note to Peter May, Yao got the ball plenty last year and wasn't able to deliver in the end of the season bc he was too tired, you can't just give it to him and expect everything to be better like magic.

i thought that was an ok paragraph. logical points about us.

i think the "current" bradley reference is more about not seeing the ball on offense/being an offensive liability, rather than a useless player

Like someone said in another thread, JVG says it's not about getting Yao more touches, it's about getting Yao better touches.

How many times did Yao get the ball at the top of the key instead of under the basket last year? Hell, half the time the only reason he got the ball was because Stevie dribbled into a triple team and needed someone to bail him out. Then of course Stevie would call for the ball back.

    Hopefully JVG will fix this.

The only person who can fix it is Yao Ming - by getting stronger. Letting 6'9" guys push you out to the 3-pt line doesn't lend itself to getting the ball in good position.

I'd rather see him get it at the top of the key rather than LLP where hakeem used to get it. At least that way he can see the court and better use his passing. He's just not good enough to one on one in the left low post all the time, and it negates his passing as he is facing backwards, he's relegated to long range pass outs to the three point line for three pointers..to a team that doesn't hit them.

Well, looking at some of the pics posted of him this summer, maybe he has.

He'll never be Shaq, but I don't want our biggest low post threat standing at the top of the key.

would you agree that having little to no movement at all after the entry pass is not fully utilizing yao ming's skill set? and wouldn't you say the coach is responsible for that?
