Houston Rockets move toward formal offer to Mike D'Antoni

Here's the thing about that: The ROCKETS are a dysfunctional franchise. Our 2 star players hate each other, our best player doesn't give a **** about defense, our role players suck out loud, our GM and our owner can't agree on something as fundamental as who the next head coach should be......the list goes on and on. If there's an EXACT situation where it's clear as day that MDA won't succeed, IT'S THIS ONE.

 

This is absolutely the worst possible coach signing if the goal is to turn this franchise around....maybe that's not the goal - maybe they just want to score a lot of points and collect 1st/2nd round playoff exits until James leaves us for LA...

 

So are we forcing assistants on this coach that doesn't get along with others?

D'Antoni's record against San Antonio and Dallas is horrible especially in the playoffs. Why on Earth does anyone in the Rocket's organization think he's going to do anything worth a darn? This year is going to be worst than last.

Oh man, maybe in the offseason the Rockets can sign Nash (out of retirement) and get Howard to stay! Max both, **** it, ROFL then get a few other players that can fit in with Brewer! Harden will probably checkout and be at Chipotle or the club in no time!! Les will basically force him to LA, GD it then the Lakers will be something again before the Rockets do ****.

Wtf, Houston number 1 SG and wasting it, I'll hold full judgement till off-season FA, but so far the Rockets are off to a stellar start!!!!

 

You're right, typically their second gig which is why Vogel or Blatt made sense. Not their 6th. Have you seen a D'Antoni led Knicks?
