With all due respect, what "big name up front" player are you wanting to get that is even realistic at this point? Whiteside? Because under MY scenario, I wanted Fournier Crabbe AND Whiteside.

I agree about another frontcourt player as well. Would much rather add Whiteside Teague Solomon Hill and a stretch 4.

Sorry, didnt see that post. Not sure how realistic Whiteside is...I thought Miami was going all in on him? Plus, hes injured, so theres that..They still havent released the severity of his sprain, IIRC..do we still throw the max at him now?

I think you have to gamble on Whiteside. I don't think he'll turn into the next Alonzo Mourning but I don't think he's going to turn into the next Kelvin Cato after getting his first big contract either.

If Howard leaves then this team just lost its best defender and rebounder. Horford brings credible defense but an elite rebounder he is not.

Whiteside has major Kelvin Cato potential.

Whiteside has given us an entire season of games. Cato gave us a preseason performance that made Carroll Dawson nut out $42 mil

Biyombo and have him split minutes with Capela.

Also, again it's looking less likely with Thunder playing so well, but if GS or Spurs were to make room for a max guy like Durant, the pieces that they would have to give up could be great for us. For example Danny Green and have him play SF. GS would have to get ridif a good role player or two. Again it's not likely either team is going to go this route.

    Sorry, why?

No one likes Dwight around the league, a lot of guys know him well enough to call him soft, p***y and they don't want him in their team...you think other gms, coaches are blind enough to not see he was a cancer in Orlando, in LA and here?

I always thought the Dwight leaving -> more chances for us to sign other top players.

Dwight basically said that Morey treats his stars like ****. Howard may not be liked but players don't want to be talk to like that especially by GMs.

Assuming this is the truth, which i'm not sure since Dwight is a liar...

...Dwight said that for Morey he's not a go to guy, which is true, if Dwight is a delusional cry baby it's not Morey's fault.

And i can guarantee you that at least 90% of coaches and players in the league thinks the same.

They want Silas to be the lead assistant, head coach interview is a cover up. Expect Lin to be chased.

At the PF position Ryan Anderson could be a target or Mirza Teletovic if Houston wanted a cheaper option. Marvin Williams and Jeff Green could be veteran options that can play both SF and PF. Derrick Williams and Marreese Speights are outside the box options that can pair nicely with Harden. If the Rockets want an offensive minded big to pair with Capela, Al Jefferson could be a nice addition.

This part is what i'm absolutely against with...all those guys would require a double digit contract, but they're not worth it since we have already a lot of various and cheaper options in the same spot...D.Mo, Beasley, Harrell, Dekker (if you consider him a stretch 4)...paying a 10/15x for guys like Anderson, Williams and Green would be so stupid that if it'll become real it means Morey is just not in the same position anymore.
