is there a reason they do? just think they're smarter (because they probably are) and want the money i guess? i guess that's where all the "if so and so had won, such and such casinos would have been in trouble" stories come from.

Yeah, basically. I would say that most of the time, they'll try to get somewhat even action, but once in a while they will take a stand on a side. Anytime a line looks way too easy, and the public is >75-80% on one side, the other side covers more often than not.

To me, this series line is sketchy bc I can't imagine they've taken enough GSW -500 bets to offset the risk of people throwing down on OKC at +400.

I dunno. To me there is a much higher chance the Warriors sweep them in 4 games than for the Thunder to win the series at all.

I'm surprised so many people in this thread think the Thunder have a chance. An injured Curry just scored 17 points in 5 minute overtime game in the playoffs. He has had now 4 days off to rest. The only thing that would concern me about how I feel this will go is Bogut being injured. They will have to readjust again for a starter being out.

Bogut would be X-factor. Can he handle OKC bigs?

Whats his injury status...thought he got hurt in game 6. Bogut will do just fine against OKC. I'm much more intrigued about Ibaka vs Draymond...Ibaka hasnt had a good postseason...If Ibaka can diminish Draymond's value for the Warriors, the Thunder may have a chance.

I expect Kanter to do very well against the Warriors bench unit...

These games will be close, but the difference is that the Warriors are champs. That alone gives them a mental advantage over the Thunder.

Would be cool to see Durant and Westbrook solve the Warriors, but Golden State just has too much depth from distance.

It comes down to okcs bench. Golden state is too deep and can score in bunches.

There is no reason to think that Thunder can't give Golden State a run for its money. If the supporting cast play up to their potential, I'd say it's likely they can upset the Warriors.

pretty common false thinking here for the gamblers out there. Just something people believe that is a trend when in reality it isn't

Iggy and Livingston combined, is GS's biggest advantage over all other NBA teams.

If OKC bench can somewhat hang tight with Warriors', they have a real shot.

OKC tend to collapse in the 4th quarter though.

Definitely rooting for OKC. I hope Adams does a number of Bogut and Green so they know what's up.

Not in this playoffs. Like Curry said, OKC are peaking at the right time. Gonna be a tough series for GW.

I wish a team can beat the Warriors but I do not see it happening this year unless someone gets injured.

Ditto. That selfish ballhog just compared defending Curry to defending Lillard. I would love to see WB eat his own words.

Do you have numbers to back up your claim?
