So this may be the wrong thread for this, but has the Rockets having a single affiliation partnership with the Rio Grande Vipers given them any real advantage over other teams?

I know many on here thought it could be a great idea and used like a minor league system, but in recent years it has not seemed to give as much advantage in players ended actually producing for the Rockets compared to how other NBA teams use the NBDL.

So the questions from that would be:

Should the use of the Vipers be changed to give a better advantage?
How better to use an NBDL team?
Is managing the basketball operations of the NBDL team straining resources for Les/Rockets that could be used better elsewhere?
