I normally don't like RPGs at all, totally boring, but this game is absolutely awesome, I'm about halfway through and am totally hooked, I can't wait to beat it and then play it again and choose the dark side options.
Best game on XBOX besides Halo. I beat it with both light and darkside characters and was suprised at how different the story lines are for the two. I was also suprised at how bad-ass the graphics are when you buy the High Definition XBOX Monster cables and hook it up to a Mitsubishi Diamond Series 55 inch HDTV.

This game was terrific, one of the few in the past years that felt like it was worth playing for more than a couple hours. I couldn't imagine playing this game on a PC. My HDTV and 6.1 surround sound system make for a terrific presentation that blows the doors off anything my PC setup would produce (measly 21" monitor and Klipsch speakers). The sound made by twirling dual lightsabers never got old
Started playing yesterday. Normally just stick with the Final Fantasy series, but I like Star Wars and heard this was one of the few games that is actually any good. I do like it so far. I'm just not sure if I should beat it with the dark or light side first. I was just going to play it by ear, but I figured I'd end up being right down the middle.
Is this an RPG or an Action/Adventure game? I thought it was RPG. If not RPG, then maybe it's good enough for the console.
I do not like the fact you have to pause and choose what use and it fights for you....This game to me sucks... I cannot wait till Jedi academy comes out. On a lighter note you want a funny game to play try Vodoo Vince for the xbox
Do yourselves a favor and play Jedi Outcast: Jedi Academy. Why play a sissy role playing game when you can actually use light sabers, dual sabers, and saber staffs? Great game.
I hate RPG's.....I hate having to choose what to do then watching it fight by itself. I love Action/adventure games, where you are the one playing!
i bought it and played it for about a week and got bored of it. RPG's aren't my thing I guess. If anyone wants this game let me know. Willing to trade or sell for cheap...
Knights of the Old Republic is a Star Wars RPG with a killer storyline that takes some time to develop (HK-47 rocks). Jedi Academy is pretty blah so far. It feels like a Jedi Knight expansion pack more than anything else. I'll wait for the big boys to show up, like Half Life 2, Doom 3, and Deus Ex 2.

Then you haven't played the RPG games I've played. Most of the good ones allow you to do either : auto fight or fight for yourself.
Didn't want to start a new thread since I searched and found thisone. The PC version comes out Tuesday. I'll probably pick it up this weekend, just in time for a week off for Thanksgiving! It supposedly got a graphics upgrade and will have 30 or so PC exclusive items.
What do you mean? The last RPG I played was Final Fantacy on PS2. I guess I am just not an RPG gamer.
