I think its very possible that either New Jersey or Detroit (maybe even Indiana) could actually challenge whoever comes out of the West.

If Zo can stay healthy, then I don't see how NJ won't be the top seed. I only see Detroit challenging them, and thats if Darko comes on strong in his rookie year.

I also see Charlotte and Boston falling off.

    1. NJ
    2. Detroit
    3. Indiana
    4. Philly
    5. Orlando
    6. Charlotte
    7. Boston
    8. Miami/Chicago/Toronto

I agree that either the Nets or Pistons could challenge the Western Conference winner, with the Nets having added Alonzo(if healthy), and the Pistons adding Campbell and Darko.

With the Pacers though, I think they are too thin up front to challenge the West. Pollard is a gritty center, I don't see him being healthy all year or having the impact Brad Miller did last year. Jermaine Oneal can't do it all by himself, and their help off their bench at PF/C isn't great either.

    In no particular order

    Nets
    Pistons
    Celtics
    Pacers
    Hornets
    76ers
    Magic

...and my suprise darkhorse pick...THE CAVS!

Yes, I think that Lebron can make that much of a difference. It won't be pretty, but I think they can sneak in with 39 or 40 wins...
