So I just found a 100 dollar bill outside of my dorm. As I got close I though it was a 1, than a 10 than when I picked it up I saw 1-0-0. I was like heck ya and ran up to my room before anybody could question me. My previous high was a 20 dollar bill in the river at I think Slashtown about 10 years ago. Now Im debating on what to spend with my new found wealth. What great day Whats the most u ever found?
Nine (!) twenties in the front yard when I was 13 or so. My parents made me go ask all the neighbors. None of them claimed it, so it was mine.
I found $201 dollars once. At first, I thought it was just a buck, but I found two $100 bills inside the single. Oh happy day!
When I was twelve, I found $650 outside of a department store I was at with my mom. We took it back to the store's customer service desk and they called the police and we turned it over to them. It had a happy ending, because the man who lost it turned up to claim it (he was able to identify it correctly). Turns out, he was in town for his sister's wedding, and it was all the money he had on him. He was so happy to have it back that he gave me a $20 reward -- trust me, to a 12-year-old, $20 is a lot of money.
I think the most I found was 5 bucks, least I think it was 5(may have been 10 or 20, but I think it was 5). But in way, I didn't find it because I didn't pick it up. Why, you ask? Because it was in a disgusting bathroom and I didn't want to grab it and then find out it was kind of wet or smelled funny. However, I think I told somebody else and they got it.
And just think of all the money you touch anyway where the people who had it before never washed their hands. I heard that most bills contain trace amounts of cocaine from people rolling them up to snort.
I was at Astro World next to some roller coaster don't remember which one and two twentys just fell onto the ground
I love finding money I forgot to put in my wallet and find money in a pair of jeans I wore a week or two ago in my pockets. Probably the closest thing though would be finding money in some old clothes in the attic I used to wear when I was a kid. Ended up finding 60 bucks.
380 something on the bottom of the pool when I was a lifeguard. no one claimed it, so I doubled my pay that week. same pool diff year there was 800 something on the bottom in a money clip. and it took 3 weeks for the guy to claim it. everyone in the front office thought I was crazy, but I will tell ya. I am honest, and have some kick arse karma. I find money all the time it seems. as a little kid on a school trip I found 20 Canadian in an arcade on the floor in Old Montreal. that particular find FELT like the biggest thing in my life. sure it was really only like 14 bucks at the time, but it was in an arcade. I was like the richest kid ever with an extra 20 in canadian Quarters. and that was back when games still cost just a quarter. even in canada
Hehe...I don't ever use money. My parents buy everything for me. That's ok since I'm still in HS though. I guess I better get used to urinated bills. I would have picked it up if it was somewhere else. I just didn't want a freshly wet bill. Plus, I didn't know if there was some camera and a guy from a stupid show seeing if people would go for it. I heard the cocaine thing to. I think it was on one of those urban legend shows, and they did say that pretty much all bills have a little bit of it. So, basically we could all be arrested for possession.
Even though I usually repress feelings of guilt, I can't bear to find large sums of money and keep them for myself. The most I've found was 50 dollars, but I've found 20 on multiple occasions, and I've always found who it belonged to. (People who drop money are usually nearby.) I guess it all started because when I was in the 6th grade, I dropped a twenty dollar bill inside of a pizza place at Astroworld, and I was really freaked out, cause I didn't have alot of money. And this really big scary looking biker guy came up to me and handed me my money, said I dropped it about 40 feet outside the place. And I really really needed that money. So I guess that's my view on it. You never know how bad these people needed that cash, it could be all they have in the world. Maybe they shouldn't have been careless with it, but we all make mistakes. Ha, I totally sound way more moralistic and honest than I really am. But still! Return money! (As long you're positive it's theirs. There are alot of liars out there!)
I didn't really find it but I came into $100 by accident. I was renting a video at Blockbuster about 4 years ago when the new $20 bills with the large Jefferson head on them just came out. At the time only the $100 bills had the large head on them with Benjamin Frankilin. Anyways when I payed for the video I payed with one of the new $20 bills. The guy behind the counter must have just seen the big head on the bill and figured it was a $100. He proceeded to hand me back $97 for a video I just payed $20 for. When the guy handed me back all that money I looked at him for a second and then looked at the money. Being the honest soul that I am I explained that I had given him a $20. He looked shocked and thanked me repeatedly for giving him the money back. I shoulda kept the money yo compensate for all the late fees I've piled up over the years.
I had a weird knack for always finding money when I was a kid. I would always seem to find quarters in Phone booths, Soda machines, Newspaper stands, under copy machines. I found 10 bucks in a river pool at Hurricane Harbor this summer, it just floated to me. Probably a sign of how my life will go.
