Easy. There's at least one more game to be played.

How is Curry playing at such a high level after going through some serious sets of injuries?

    - Countless ankle injury and surgery
    - Multiple concussion
    - Multiple Knee injuries

With these kinds of injuries added up, other players would've slowed down or not playing to their usual standard.

I thought Lawson said that Curry would have to play some defense. But yeah, I got the drift.

I think its because he has unreal balance and fundamentals, those things can hold in the league for a long time, unlike athleticism.

Not sure how true is this, but from what i've read, he worked really hard on his core and back, so most of his ability to shift directions quickly from the strength he has there.

It's not so much that this whole game will be remembered for a long time...it's probably not even in Curry's top 20 overall games. IMO, that overtime will be remembered for a long time, because...look at it this way: a typical standard for "amazing quarter" is 20 points. That's 20 points in 12 minutes. Curry scored 17 in a 5-minute period. Yeah, he's done things like that before, but doing it in the playoffs, in such a high leverage situation (overtime, so game obviously on the line) and neatly packaged into a 5-minute period (as opposed to a random 5-minute stretch during a normal second quarter) all makes it both incredibly impressive and incredibly presentable as a memory.

Preeeeeeeetty sure the Rockets don't have anyone of CJ's caliber as second fiddle to Harden.

    Oh... Dwight Howard? trollololololololulz

Goes to show just how much coaching means in this league...

    Paging Daryl... Paging Mr. Morey.

Wait, what? It's taken people this long to realise the Rockets are fools? I thought Brooklyn and Denver - that's right, Brooklyn and Denver - made us look like fools long, long ago at the beginning of this season.

I never really felt like the Blazers were in command. Sure they had the hot start. But that included a 4 point play and then another streaky 3... the Warriors were uncharacteristically cold from the floor. Klay was missing shots he generally makes. Curry was yet to enter the game.

The Warriors against the majority of teams could be down nearly 30 and I still wouldn't feel like they're out of the ball game.

Just lol. No they did not. I can remember a couple of calls that went Portland's way. I can remember a segment in the game that the Warriors received 3 blatant calls going their way.

The refs didn't cost Portland the game at all. But to say the refs favoured Portland is laughable.

Curry is the new face of the league. He's surpassed LeBron as holding that mantle. The league is going to do everything they can to put him on a mantle piece.

I do not believe for one second that the NBA is not pulling strings and playing some of the broadcast shows like puppets and feeding what they want to the public.

Best playoff performance of all time.... Well.... That is quite a mighty stretch isn't it.

The two-time MVP. Coming off a non-severe injury (he was only out for two weeks because the competition was deemed a joke by Golden State) playing against a team who got hot at the right time to win 40 odd games.

This is not LeBron going all out against an all-time great Celtic team with superstars in/just exiting their primes.

I'm actually still laughing you consider this the 'best playoff performance OF ALL TIME'. Like... Are you being serious when you say that?

I couldn't help but chuckle that Portland got called for 4 offensive fouls on screens that I recall. I saw Bogut get called for one.

And you see the countless other screens the Warriors set where they move to hinder the defender's movement towards the player with the ball.

It would be great to watch the Warriors, with all their other wordly talent, face teams with the referees evenly calling the game.

Instead for the majority of the time, we see the Warriors with all their other wordly talent, being aided by the league.

    I think you're just nut-hugging right now.

    I don't know.

    But multiple concussions? huehuehue.

Take a look at the Australian rugby league. You'd be thinking Curry is an 11 year old girl after watching some of that.

Curry is great offensively. No doubt at all. MVP THIS year no doubt in my mind. But honestly. The d*ck riding that goes on is somewhat nauseous inducing.

Not sure what you mean, but they beat the Clippers in 3rd game when those two were healthy. They were leading in 4th game before those two injured.

A lot of people thought we were done last year against the Clippers after Game 4.

That said, Green didn't have many choices in replying a question like that.

he didn't and his reply doesn't surprise me.

Clippers were not where near a historically great team like GS is. that's just what it is.

I think some concussions are overrated...NBA is just being careful in diagnosing them. Has he really had multiple concussions though? Officially?

Ankles aren't really career killers, if treated and rehabbed well. He was young enough when it happened, also.

what other knee injuries has he had? This is basically minor grade 1 sprain. Not a really big deal.

It's hard to conclude that "these kinds" of injuries would have slowed down or stopped other players...has anyone had comparable injuries? Lots of variable to consider before you can make this conclusion.

It is relevant because people are talking up Curry for the sake of talking him up.

OmG guise look at the way he bites his nails on the bench! That is such a professional way of doing that. True champion. So humble.

This is a basketball forum. The best basketball league in the world is the NBA. The MVP this year, was the MVP last year...and he got his second through unanimous decision.

So I don't understand. Not talking about Curry at the moment is like not talking about Jordan / Bird / Hakeem / Shaq when you talk about past eras.

You can try to deny his play or discredit Curry, but at this point, there's absolutely nothing negative about him that could drive a discussion to that degree.

If you don't want to see discussion on Curry, or if you're tired of Curry coverage, then don't watch the NBA. Simple.

What if Howard went to Portland? Would be interesting seeing him play with Dame and CJ.
