Finally someone calling out Westbrook's D. He's a terrible defender and probably most responsible for OKC's defensive issues.

 

He's been an overrated defender for many years. He and Thabo were great when Ron Adams was on the staff years ago. Adams would bark at him coming off the floor during timeouts. But WB hasn't played thoughtful, solid defense since then. Most people just look at his athleticism, view clips of breakaway steals and come away with the wrong impression. But when you watch him play-after-play, he gambles for home runs but strikes out more often.
