I think everyone would ditch Brew in a heartbeat. Attach a second rounder if need be. Ariza, Capela and Beasley ($1 million TO) would be a good squad off the bench. Just need to find a couple backup guards and then fill out the rest with vets.
Lamarcus woulf move to center or kawhi to SG Either Duncan Aldridge Durant Leonard Parker Or Aldridge Durant Kawhi Green Parker Either way they can switch alot and excell at tall ball opposite of small ball. Its milwuakee on steriods
But if u have to weigh options how far would Kd/horford/harden go vs Green/klay/curry/+ a whiteside?? Vs Kawhi/lma/parker Vs Lebron/kyrie/love Id say thats #2 behind warriors tied for 2 with spurs depending on our coach. If u get conley with durant i but us slightly below warriors. If we get russ the following year i put us right with warriors
I couldn't say. With Durant, you'd have a dynamic scorer who can play the 3 and 4. Bev and Ariza would add defense to the line-up, or we could alternatively try and sign a pick-and-pop 4 vet to start (Bass?). He'd be an alpha that Harden would respect and I'd imagine Harden would give up some of the playmaking. Horford can be our stretch 5 or he could be a big PF next to Capela. Ariza, Beas, Capela off the bench. Sig a vet backup point (Nelson? Udrih? Augustin?) and put some money into a guy like Courtney Lee. We'd absolutely need a coach who could bring all these ingredients together. Vogel?
Close this thread Nobody wants to come to this dumpster fire. Its suicide. Not even a respectable coach would sign here
Do Rocket fans post on this Rockets board? Jesus christ, gtfo here with this bs lol thats why theres like 16 coaching options who are all interested in cosching this team
His main point was that Durant would never come here given the state of the team which we all have to agree with. He threw the coach part in there for kicks but this thread isn't about coaches. It's about Durant.
Here we go again with the delusionals. 2015-2016 all over again. "You're just a contrarian. Youre trolling. 60 wins. Meaningless preseason. Neg repped."
For one I'd argue Harden is better just slightly. Westbrook puts up slightly gaudier stats... But a PG that can rebound amazingly does nothing for me. You want them to box out, grab the occasional board but that's not their job. Westbrook runs around like a chicken with his head cut off way too much. Regardless of which of those two is better, OKC has the better supporting cast bar none. So if Durant would come here it would only be in conjunction with signing someone else big. Like Conley. But it's very unlikely.
