    looking at Twitter- the Pacers fans are really upset they let go of Vogel..
    Unlike the Rockets fans when they fired Mchale they were very happy.

    I truly believe vogel is a very good -coach and it seems like Pacers fan think the same:

    I think it would be a great hire

    Let's hire Scott Brooks so (w)(h)e can recruit Kevin Durant!
    Let's hire Kevin McHale so (w)(h)e can recruit Dwight Howard!
    Let's hire Jeff Van Gundy so (w)(h)e can recruit Clarence Weatherspoon!
    Let's hire Mike D'Antoni so (w)(h)e can recruit Jerry Lin!
    Let's hire Sam Cassell, Mario Elie, Robert Horry, & Shane Battier because they're former Rockets! Well yeah, Adrian Griffin & Ryan Bowen are assistants and are also former Rockets! Maybe we should hire them?

    I don't let my players come in and talk about the coach. ... I don't let players influence me on my decisions. It's important to get someone they all respect. aka My players aren't running the coaching search.

    Didn't run firing Frank by the players and isn't letting them choose the new coach.

    but but but let's see who we can hire who can recruit! And run this coach and that coach by James to see if he likes him. And does he fit this and fit that? :rolleyes:

    Um, I don't advocate Vogel for any recruiting. I just think he's the best coach available, and I think he's slightly underrated b/c his players were somewhat overrated in Indiana. The teams he made successful were largely garbage, sets of role players, aside from George.

    Vogel, like JVG or Thibs would instantly improve our defense dramatically. Would be a massive get for Morey and would bring instant credibility to the Rockets coaching staff
