Why do you make the mistake of assuming I don't know anything about basketball? My point is, every team the Warriors played last year had significant injuries. Especially at the PG spot. This year with the Clippers going down just evokes the same scenario. You really were impressed that the Warriors beat Lebron and a D league team? Please.

Brandon Jennings is an anomaly; still tweets like players used to in the early days of twitter

No endorsements, no faux-motivational crap, just a speakerphone

How great would the GS be if they manage to win the whole thing without Curry? Would that put them into untouchable territory? Can anyone imagine Bulls without Jordan or Lakers without Magic?

SAS should be able to knock them out, without Curry. Perhaps with him too.

You look at the guys on Warriors team, half of the them have bounced around the league, cut from multiple teams, Bogut, Barbosa, Speights, Clark, Livingston, Igg, Verejao. Now all of them play valuable roles, make meaningful contributions.

To be able to put a system in place in such a short time, and have guys buy into it, and play their respective roles, Kerr is a real good coach.

You wouldn't be complaining if the Rockets were in the position that the Warriors are in right now, supposed easy road and all.

Yes, the Bulls won 55+ games without Jordan, should have been to the final to play the Rockets that year had the refs not award the Knicks THREE FT on a last second phantom call.

Well, we did get a chance to see the Bulls without Jordan, the first year he retired, and the Bulls were pretty damn good despite not replacing Jordan with anyone better than Pete Myers. They lost in the conference semi-finals to the Knicks (the team that went to the Finals) on a phantom foul call. Pippen was really great that year.

Yes, but they did not win the whole thing, I am only talking about in case Curry does not play and GS beats both Spurs and Lebron.

Well, sure, but I'd put the chances that the Curry-less Warriors beat the Spurs at right around 0%.

You just forgot Bulls played without MJ.

Had GSW played without Curry all year, Spurs get #1 seed most assuredly. And GSW would be playing OKC right now, instead of Portland. They might not even make it out of the 2nd round; we don't know, because Curry played all year and got them the 1st seed.

You have to consider that. Had MJ played all year in 1994, they get the #1 seed and don't face Knicks until the WCF, instead of 2nd round.

And they've played a Rockets team that quit well before the playoffs started and an overachieving Portland team, when they could have faced their first real opponents in the Clippers. We all know how that turned out. Go ahead and root for the Warriors. It takes a special person to get swept up in the media darling saga. If that is you, great.
