Still one of the most hated, and what Senate majority will be left after Trump tears down down-ballot votes? ;)

Now that he can bring his special fish monster powers out of the closet?

    If not, how... exactly?

Is Carly suddenly also the most powerful former CEO in the nation?

Exactly. After this election the Republican majorities in the house and senate will be gone almost certainly and the SCOTUS will be fairly far left leaning and Hillary will be president. There is no silver lining.

The fact Cruz (and Abbott and Patrick) can carry Texas in a landslide tells you everything you need to know about Texas, the Anus of Civilization

Honestly, if you think Texas is so ****ty, then move. For as crappy as people think the politics are; the state is doing very well. There is lots of opportunities, diversity and people from supposed liberal havens like Chicago are moving to Texas in hordes.

I certainly learn more left than right, but come on.

THIS!! I live in Portland and am heavily considering a move to Texas when I graduate from college.. Tons of opportunities.. you don't have to agree with their policies, but the facts speak for themselves..

Texas government's takeover by right wing crazies does cause people to move, as well as discourage people from moving there.

Let's face it, you have a government that wants to remake the state into a ****hole like Kansas or Mississippi - the price of oil can counteract against that, obviously, as well as other opportunities, but years of right wing misrule at the state level eventually take a toll - fortunately for Texas most of the surrounding states are even worse, or are Mexico, so there's no easy escape valve.

Better hope that voter suppression laws are overturned by the SCT if you love the lone star state.

He's more of a joke than anything else, the senate floor is not the same as the presidential race. He was hated before by those individuals, who now realize that most of the people out there do too.

Hell, his future as a senator might be in jeopardy.

Can't wait to see your tears again texxx. You're crumbling.
