I hope the Night King's didn't have anything to do with the resurrection. Mel/Davos da real MVP in my book. From what I heard, they have 14 episodes left after this season so probably will split it in 2 seasons. Anywho, the show is a cash cow they best not start cutting the budget more.
The show also costs a lot to make... and given that HBO has had a ton of failures over the last 2-3 years, with GOT remaining as their main "signature" show (shows that people would actually subscribe just to watch it), they have to try and balance the quality that it provides... along with preparing for life after GOT. As it is, the story/acting/writing are the most important aspects. The CGI, while necessary to portray dragons, shouldn't be the most vital aspect of what makes the show great.
I'm assuming next week's episode being called "Oathbreaker" is about Jon Snow "breaking" his oath to the Night's Watch by leaving the wall with the Wildlings to rain hellfire on Ramsey.
Yeah I really don't know. Those are just the kind of tid bits I can get out of this person. There is some sort of connection with Jon and Nights King... that's all I know. Jon Snow obviously didn't wake up with blue eyes so that's a start.
Or, it might have more to do with Jamie Lannister, who is infamous for breaking the oath of the King's Guard.
I personally wouldn't pin point it to that. The entire show revolves around the various oaths that people talk, many of who end up breaking them and becoming Oathbreakers (Robb Stark, Jamie, Jon Snow, etc). So there's more to oaths, oathkeeping, and oathbreaking, than Brienne's sword. I honestly don't see a way in which Brienne can break her oath to Sansa without any build up from the previous episodes. If I were to guess, I'd say that the episode probably focuses on one of the few oathbreakers still alive, Jamie (and his possible attack on the religious group) or Jon (leaving the Night's Watch).
Yeah but he wouldn't be breaking that oath, he fulfilled it by dying. The oath is He died, thus his watch was over. He can do whatever the hell he wants now.
The titles like this usually have double meanings. Possibilities: House Umber betrays Rickon Stark Something about Brienne and her oaths Jon Snow's oath to the Nightswatch Something dealing with Jamie Lannister Something connected to House Frey
Is there something in there about not being allowed to kill the lord commander of the night's watch? You figured that would be a little bit more serious than say taking up a lover or leaving the wall for a day or two.
That along with the scene where the giant snatched that guy off of Castle Black and turned him into a smear of blood on the wall were great.
What I dont get, is why didn't Brienne tell Sansa that she saw Arya with The Hound, instead of just a large man?
I think he means to Frey's daughter and Roose Bolton being killed, but as far as the world knows Bolton was poisoned. So I doubt anything happens.
