I hope JVG is hired soon, the longer the wait continues to more I feel like the only option we have is to re-sign JB and hope playing without Howard builds chemistry since he wont butting heads with Harden.
It isn't a red flag that he clashed enough with a star player to get fired... despite having a team coming off a finals appearance, along with having the best record in the conference?
Chris Finch looks like he hits the bottle hard nightly. Dude is always looking disheveled on the sidelines or during the awkward interviews he gives in-game. JVG makes too much sense so I'd guess Le$ would sign whoever coached the highest scoring team in the world just to show everyone 'who's boss'

JVG doesn't need an interview. The job should be his when he walks through the door. The Rockets have wasted enough time.
i dont mind waiting a little longer. JVG isn't going to the knicks or kings, so he's ours if we want him. but if we wait, we see if vogel or joerger shakes loose. lets wait and see.
It's on the Houston Chronicle website. The Rockets will interview Jeff Van Gundy, J.B Bickerstaff, Jeff Hornacek, Lionel Hollins and David Blatt. Though I think David Blatt might get the Knicks job.
If JVG really was the main target, don't you think there would be news of an interview at the very least? You think he'd be locked up within a day or 2 of that interview, yet nothing. No news anywhere. Walton was locked up the day he was interviewed.
The Rockets will interview several candidates and take their time, that's how they operate. I don't think Brooks or Walton were major targets, although they would have certainly gotten interviews. Thibs I don't think we had a shot at, what Minnesota offered was superior for him. Lots of folks seem to be antsy. No reason to be.
