Great great freaking episode. Plus we get ToJ next week? I wasn't sure about this season after last weeks episode but like Melisandre my faith is restored!
I'm glad they didn't waste time on bringing back Jon Snow. We all know it's happening, and they handled it well with Melissandre doubting her own faith and powers. On the other hand, it sure is easy to assassinate leaders in this universe.
If you guys recall, when I said weeks ago that I was told episode 2 is when we get Jon Snow resolution, I also mentioned something else the producer mentioned that there is something about Jon Snow's "situation" that will piss off the fans or I guess they mean throw us off. So my guess is that Mel is getting credit here, but in that time gap, something else happened that we didn't see.
Wonder what gift is presented to Ramsay... That looked like Umber sigil, we know a little lord who was sent there.
Also... pretty funny thing happened. I was watching the Tyrion segment (which was F-ing awesome), and my wife walked in and started talking to me (non-GOT watcher), and I said..... "Shh.... they are about to release the Dragons" I havent heard my wife laugh out loud that much in a long time.
this was one of the weaker episodes everything was too easy and unearned Roose should not have been that stupid to allow the cliched "hug them and then gut them" trope with Ramsey. And Melisandre's spell felt like hand waving
Well I liked it, can't wait to see what happened to Snow, Mel said "Please" and left...I wonder if someone else brought him back and we are not getting the "Good" man back? DD
I'm guessing he wil less occomodatin, teusting or forgiving and he will be more brutal and heartless in some of his decisions.
yeah and the title of the next episode is 'oathbreaker'. maybe thats the reason. rob should have hanged him back then
With TOJ next, this thing feels like it's the final season. They were serious when they said a lot of things will happen in this one.
Exactly. I'm not sure if I'm the only one who's getting a "rushed" vibe from the first two episodes. Not saying they're rushing things per se, especially when you note the fact that GRRM's last couple of books have a very very slow and dragging pace; still, it's just new getting used to the faster pacing that this season seems to be carrying along.
