    What does him being old and out of shape have to do with his coaching abilities? He's been an assistant for a while now.

    I think he'll definitely be the Kings HC

    He's coached nearly every premiere big man in the past decade

    Mchale may be more ideal, but Ewing isn't a bad get

    Why not? He's served his time as an assistant under the Van Gundy's.

    Albeit not a long list(if even a list at all) but their other assistants seem to be doing fine. Steve Clifford. Tom Thibodeau.

    Agreed. He's paid his dues, it's not like Fisher or Kerr.

    The Van Gundy has a good coaching tree, and maybe he's no different.

    Wait till you get up in age and your body can't do what it use to do when you were young. Believe me it is a biatche keeping in shape and trying to get in workouts during the week. Plus the body does not heal as fast IF you get an injury of some sort.:grin:
