McFarlane Toys recently made a Steve Francis figure and now they are releasing a new very cool Yao Ming figure. Release date is in November. Here are the just released photos. I thought they did a pretty good job on him. Chances are there will be versions of him in the road RED jersey as chase figure variants. They did that with the Francis figure in the road Blue uniforms. Again, look for these to hit stores in November.

Yeah, I too wish they would re-release Francis with the new jersey. They have made 2nd versions though in the past. In the most recent series coming out they are coming out with a new Tracy McGrady in his new Orlando uniform. He was released in the last series as well. So if Francis has a BIG year and becomes even more popular then you might see him re-released in the new unis. OR, you can go on Ebay to see if someone is selling a home made re-paint of Francis in the new unis. There are some pretty good repaints out there! Very professional looking.

I'm not sure. I haven't seen them yet, and Mezco's site makes it sound like they are just barely going to hit stores. I have a couple of those places listed as 'where to buy' on their site - Hastings and Gamestop - near me, but haven't seen any yet.
I just checked out their website. The other two they have of Allen Iverson and Shaq don't look anything like them. If it weren't for the jerseys, I would have never have guessed who they were. The Yao one is pretty accurate facially, I can tell it's him. I think I'm going to check out my local Gamestop. If they have one, imma' gonna git me one! Thanks again Rokkit

NP, you're welcome Rob. I ran across that the other day and liked the design on it. I think that's 45 bucks for a case. Those are toy collectors sites, they go generally in bulk. You'd probably get a couple of each figure in each case.
Kudos to McFarlane Toys. They always make great looking toys. I would prefer Yao's hair a little shorter. But I really like it. Oh yeah, the Uni look sharp and simple. I'm beginning to think that the leak of the new uniform was all done on purpose. Starting from the Cat to Eastbay. Common Tim, we are not all stupid.

Yao Ming is wearing nike shox supremacy's. Wonder if that will be any determinant as to who Yao will sign with? or did he already make it official with Reebok?
