We just moved into our new house, and the only thing it does not have that I want is a media room. We have a 3 car detached garage, and I was thinking of adding a 2nd floor and making it the media game room etc. I already have a game room for the kids, but this room I am thinking projector, bar, pool table, ping pong..etc..etc... Anyone have any experience doing this? Thanks, DD
I think it would be cool to have it on top of your garage. Just make sure there are no restrictions or rules that say you cannot build a room on top of your garage. We would like pics when it's finished! And your room sounds very nice...how are you gonna get to it? Stairs? Congrats on your new house!
