I love soundtracks. That's all I listen to! We have XM radio and there is a station called Cinemagic and it's all I listen to when my husband isn't listening to ESPN.

I have to agree about Thomas Newman. Anything from him is great! I really like Meet Joe Black.

Braveheart and Dances with Wolves are the universal "good soundtracks"

I actually loved the soundtrack from this game called Relentless. If you've heard of Twinsen's Odyssey, that was the sequel to Relentless. Best game ever.

Anything that Danny Elfman does is great.
Disney movies always rock - especially when you take care of kids all day .
And I like any of themes that are a bit on the dark side too.

Dude. You beat me to it. I bought the soundtrack the day after that movie came out. Very powerful, especially the opening theme.

2nd of my list would be the score to Meet Joe Black.

requim for a dream. there's the ending part where the music is mostly violin and they're jumping scenes from the crazy lady, damon wayan, that guy from my-so-called life, and jennifer connely having ass-to-ass dildo sex with another girl.

i also liked any given sunday when pacino is giving that speech to his players.

I can't believe that nobody has such classics as " The Theme From Shaft.", and " Superfly."

How in the hell has nobody mentioned Terminator?!?!?!

I also listen to the Halloween theme to scare me occasionally.

My favorite soundtrack of all-time is The Empire Strikes Back. If I had to pick just one theme from a movie, it would be the "Prelude and Main Title March" from Superman. Also one of the best opening credit sequences ever made.

Seconded. Plus Star Wars has some pretty good and identifiable music.

Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings. One of my favorite pieces. It was perfect for that movie.
