    Pot. kettle. Black

This is the #1 idiot on this forum. Yeah no chemistry issues because it doesn't fit his agenda.

All he has to do is watch games to understand that there were clear chemistry issues and now there are reports from respected journalists all around highlighting this issue

But for this idiot it's all baout that TOV% and that TS%

An debate about Harden has turned into Aaron Brooks and special needs insults?

    This is going well.

Very polarizing "star" we have here. Hopefully we'll see what he looks like on a good team next year.

Point black period, James must play D at high level to earn teammates respect and accept him as the leader. You can't lead playing reach around bad AAU D!!!

I said Harden wasn't a leader over 2 seasons, but was ridiculed.

Haven't given up on him because he's very talented, but if he can't conform under a real coach, he needs to go. A true champion would conform on his own though. Some things should've never happened.

Yes, I certainly have, and cherry picking a few that you disagree with and out of context in this discussion does not change anything.

After saying something so stupid, larsv8 should actually hide his face out of shame.

DD, what is your ideal realistic lineup for next season?.. Just wondering since you want both Howard (agreed) and Harden out?

I argued with DD on Lowry/Brooks for months. One of the major point was I believe Lowry was a much much better defender than Brooks. Whatever brooks scored on offense couldn't cover what he gave up on Defense. And of course Lowry was not worse than Brooks from team ball point of view either.

Now DD learned and I agree with him.

Giving up 37 points in first quarter is a bigger reason for the loss than players not making shots.

I can remember many times a team score less than 20 in 1st quarter and won a playoff game, but I can't remember when was the last time a team gave up 37 in 1st quarter and won.

Harden's offensive stats might look worse if he plays more D, but that would be beneficial to the team overall because other players will follow. They don't have the offensive talent Harden has, but they can and will try harder if the leader tries harder on defense.

    Unless we made enough shots....

You aren't wrong, but it's hard for a player to lead the league in minutes, be the entire offense, and get back and play consistent. I don't think people want to admit the toll that takes.

We saw that harden can do the above and be the real MVP last season, but it's not possible to have that burden yearly.

I realize this thread was probably made for a laugh, but I'm starting to believe that building around Harden is not the way to go. He is needs to have the ball in his hand to be effective, and yet he is not good enough as a playmaker to replace a playmaking PG.

If the team somehow gets a Durant or another top dog and Harden plays a complementary role, it may work. But I've come to think that he can't be the centerpiece to the system.

    Underrated part of this

He is not talking enough to his teammates off the court

He ISOs himself in strip clubs, entertainment venues.

He isn't taking on leadership other than his routinely passing after dribbling dribbling down the clock

He hides his emotions behind his beard, alienating himself to the group

I don't want Harden out, I want to build around him.
