I think the Warriors are going to tank the next game

    OP must be dumb.

Clippers/Blazer will be playing till Friday, so 2nd round for Warriors won't start till Sunday at the earliest. Tuesday if Blazer win in 7.

Why would they lose game 5 when they will have to play either on Sunday or Tuesday????????? You do know if they win in game 6 on Friday, they will have to play on Sunday if Blazer wins on Wednesday and Friday??????????

    ARE YOU JB???

    IS THAT YOU JB???????????

    OR IS IT YOU COREY?

Is you or is you ain't stupid

I won't reiterate all the reasons why it doesn't help the Warriors to tank. There is also the fact that the remaining Warriors will want to demonstrate that this is more than the Curry Show and that they are still a great team without him.

    They don't have a chance.

Jason Terry is about to show the world that he's on Pablo Prigioni's level.

I was joking when I said they would lose intentionally to get more rest in the other thread. This team respects its opponents too much to ever lose intentonally to any team, including the Rockets.

I don't think you understand how the playoffs work. When the second round starts doesn't really depend on when Golden State finishes playing but instead when the LAC/Portland series is finished (assuming that our series is finished before that one).

From their standpoint, they want to finish this series ASAP and then they will still have the same amount of time to rest as they wait for the LAC/Portland series to finish.

I pray that they don't. Mercy please.

End this season. Let us get started on building a coach staff. Dragging this out is painful.

it wouldnt surprise me that could happen - dragging this to a 7 game series would give more time for steph to heal. GSW doesnt really consider houston a threat of wining against them. The only reason i dont think this will work is because they cant afford someone else getting injured... ie: thompson/Green or Livingston. That being said, they have a Deep roster, they still have Verajo who i havent seen play much.

The only way it perhaps gets Curry more time is if they throw game 5 AND game 6, forcing a game 7. The Clippers/Blazers series doesn't look like it'll go 7 with both Paul and Blake out, so pushing this series to 7 would win Curry some extra time.

But no team is ridiculous enough to intentionally throw one playoff game, let alone two, and purposely force an unnecessary elimination game.

Conspiracy theories are fun but almost always dumb.

no it doesn't. they have no control on when the port/clips series will end so it doesn't really give him "more time" when hes sitting regardless for the next 2 weeks. Whether the series ends tonight or game 7 sunday it doesn't matter.
