I have seen some people complaining how this is one of the worst first round. But it seems to me now that every remaining series except ours because we lack effort and will, is wide open.
i think it also somewhat hurts that almost all of the competitive series are the least marquee series. granted, the best teams usually win their series quickly, but outside of the heat, none of the east's 2-7 are recently premiere franchises and the biggest names are probably paul george and an older dwade. essentially no headlines to be had. and now paul and griffin's injuries have ruined the one competitive series that did have stars. also, even the wide open series have featured huge blow-outs that haven't made the games any fun.
Look at the bright side. Not only its now very likely that clips will trade their core but if the raps lose yet again in the first round after such perfomances from derozan, masai may chlose not resign him for 25 per, rebuild and lowry will hit the market.

Pacers were up like 15 and on a roll. Ty Lawsons check in at the end of the 3rd and the Raptors go on a 20-2 run..
I have interest in Atlanta because my wife and I are moving there soon. I'll root for them once I go there after the Rockets.
