We are too good to fold like a cheap suit. They are too good without Curry to take for granted. We know both these things. Lesson learned. We're going 3-0 from here. Mark it. Where we go from there? I don't know, but we're winning this series because we can. This team will commit to making history and that history being the biggest upset in league history. 73/9 loses in 7 to 41-41.
I applaud your confidence, seriously. But I think this is where fans have gone wrong -- not realizing sooner that this team was broken to the core. They have folded like a cheap suit all season. The first half effort last night was the anomaly, not the norm. I hope you're right... but I have not seen the talent or the effort level this season.
I respect your posting history on here a lot, and I like to hear this from a fan, but if we don't fold like a cheap suit, that will be a new routine for this group in this season. The 2nd half of game 4 looked like pure sears sucker balled up and set on fire. ...
A lot has to happen before we even stand a chance. No TO's, 3 pt shooting must start NOW, Ariza needs to catch fire, Brewer needs to make shots, Howard needs to play big and Harden needs to Harden. If we win Game 5... Yeah, I think we can win Game 6 at home. Game 7 tho? idk... too much emotion. But this series should be 2-2 at the very least, but being down 3-1 to a not so hot Warriors team epitomizes the season. I'm not surprised.
So who is going to go off against the Rockets in Game 5 because it looks like everyone on their team has had a good crack at the Rockets already.

I'm going to be pissed off if we beat the Warriors (which isn't happening). JVG can't keep waiting for us
I'm just as encouraged by the first half of last game as I am discouraged by the second half . The keys for the team are playing with focus and mental toughness / awareness . We just don't have a lot of calm/ smart guys on the team . Jb needs to do a better job of keeping these guys sharp . As stupid as we play we are capable of having halves where we shoot 2/13 and commit more turnovers than the Warriors who shoot 9/20 and tie them !!!!! This team just needs to play their own game and stop trying to be something they aren't . When our team is being aggressive and enforcing their style their tempo then we are really really good . We just can't keep it up . We didn't practice it enough during the regular season , but hey I can always hope things click and we can figure out how to keep our edge and focus for a few games .
These guys don't talk enough to each other on the court. Plays where you get the ball poked behind you on a break is preventable especially with a not so loud crowd.
We are better than we've shown, but definitely not too good to not win this series. GS isn't LA. Put GS in that game 6 late game situation and they dont fold, they run good plays and eat up clock, we don't come back. We need to face lesser talented teams or those with similar mental lapses. GS fits neither
"This team will commit to making history" This team can't even commit to playing defense for more than 15 minutes at a time.
Really? We've folded like cheap suits all season long, actually that's been the Rockets' MO. Too good for who? The Sixers?
No way. This team can barely play 24 straight minutes as a functional unit. You have to do it for 48 minutes to beat a team this good, even sans Curry. I think everyone (myself included) took for granted that this team would "figure it out" this season. They got lazy, and showed us their true form. Here's to a major overhaul this offseason.
