I got my letter today regarding buying extra tickets for the games if your a season ticket holder.

It goes like this....For the games against the Lakers and the Cavaliers you cannot purchase no greater than how many seats you pay for during the season.
ex: you have two tickets you can only buy 2 tickets per game extra for those games.

That "you cannot purchase no greater" makes my head hurt. Does that mean I "can purchase greater"? :D

makes my head hurt to knowing that I cannot think of any good reasons why its beneficial anymore to being a season ticket holder when they give us limits on how many tickets we can buy.

I hear you. But there is a reason.

As it stands, those games will likely be sold out before individual tickets go on sale. (The date for that is tentatively set for Oct. 4, by the way.) Existing season ticket and mini-plan holders already bought out the allotment we put aside for them, and large groups bought all of the tickets we had set aside for group sales. Right now, the only open seats left for those games are on hold because we need to sell them as part of full season plans and mini-plans.

Can't really sell someone a season ticket if it doesn't include the Lakers games, for example.

Our sales of new season tickets and mini-plans are running about 80% ahead of last year right now. And last year was an 80% improvement from the year before. Availability for some of the games is already becoming very limited. I'll be honest -- it's a situation I hope we start having more and more often.

They wont even let me buy two tickets for the home opener. Whats the point of being a season ticket holder if I cant even buy extra tix to take my friends?

English is the only language where a double negative is not a no-no.

And this from a guy who can't spell.

Well, Tim, now they're gonna cuss you out because your arena's not big enough and you didn't have enough foresight to build a bigger one. :D

well im glad everything is selling, but it kinda sucks for people who cant get season tickets. All the good games are being sold out before we can have a chance to buy.

Mini-packs, rocketlaunch, mini-packs. There's quite a few that include the season opener still available for sale.
