If Dwight opts in says something like "We have unfinished business" then I can dig it.. But if he says some weak crap like " Houston is where I want to be" , then he can go to hell!

Very true. A feeble attempt by Feigen to divert attention away from the disaster that is called the Rockets.

How do all these teams have players who can hit contested 3s but Houston cant hit wide open ones

Game 4 could have been 15+ in 2nd but everyone kept missing. Shooting has reverted to how it was at the beginning of the season

I don't understand it either. Our 3 point shooting is absolutely horrendous and atrocious. Nothing like last year.

Maybe because the ball doesn't whip around enough.

I've heard and read from enough shooters to know that touching the ball regularly is very important.

How can you not give Harden some rest?

and that horse died at half time.

I also thought the rockets should of used a hack a someone when Klay and green were lighting up the rockets in the 3rd.

Can't wait for JB to be gone

Personnel was poorly chosen. Players are disgruntled and lacsidaical. Coaching is obselet and I'm ready for the rockets to go ahead and sink or swim. Heard Cancun has nice beaches.

Different in Game 3 and 4 was about the threes. ALL ABOUT THE THREES. Morey needs to trash all the players that can't make threes and add better perimeter defenders who can guard the 3pt shot.

KJ McDaniels is probably our quickest defender on the perimeter. Naturally, our dumbass coach doesn't play him in a game where we're getting absolutely murdered from long range.

yeah but under jvg the rockets don't need to resort to that because jvg's defensive schemes would be better and he wouldn't accept lazy effort on the defensive end.

He wasn't dead but he wasn't taking control or looking like he wanted to. He did a good job in the first half defering and getting his boys involved, but 2nd half he needed to try to take over, this is probably when you also take terry out and put KJ in for more defense as terry isn't needed for ball handling.

Yeah, with Beverley out, it made much more sense to start KJ alongside Harden. He has the length to more effectively defend Livingston and that would have allowed Terry to come off the bench and guard Barbosa, or clark, which are better defensive match-ups for him. KJ also is a high energy player, something they could have used after putting forth so much effort and burning out in the 1st half.

I guess JBB was planning on playing Harden the entire game. Seems so shortsighted, it just leads to him wearing down and being less aggressive on drives. There isn't another coach in the playoffs right now that tries to squeeze this many minutes out of their star player, you have to find moments in the game to give them at least a brief rest. It's even worse in Harden's case, he's not a high motor player to begin with and he's already asked to be the main scoring and to facilitate the offense as well.

I didn't expect us to win, but the 2nd half collapse was awful. Using KJ's length on the perimeter could have been useful.
