This was much better then the 1st open house. Got a free t-shirt free food (one drink and a food item of your choice). Less people so not as crowded and got to take a look at the Rockets locker room etc....

Went to it tonight. The opponents locker room is horrible! So small and dull, I would hate being on the road here. It looks like a prison. The Rocket and Comet locker rooms were basically the same, which I found suprising for some reason....

Overall a great place and I really liked the seats we got, section 115, they are better then I had hoped :)

Clutch the Bear had the old uni on. Damn bear.

I have to say I was impressed with the food, I had the chicken tender basket and I am a big eater and that basket had me full before it was empty lol

Free T-shirt, hot dancers, No players, NO coach,NO Uniforms, great locker rooms for the Rockets and Comets, if your a visiting team enjoy the closed in space:p

Viewed Les suite which happens to have a window overlooking the locker room entrance.

The toyota center is indeed State of the art BUT they are gonna need to do something about the parking, when you have been a season ticket holder for 10+ years I think senority should be taken in consideration.

The suites are way over priced and not worth the amount of money they are asking for them. Here is a break down of the "Party suites"

7 person party suite is 3,750 for premium price per game
18 person is 5,850 per game
    28 person is 7,700
    40 person is 12,400
    52 person is 17,100

These prices are all per game. ( an A price and B price as well are given as well not cheaper unless you go with B price)

Overall Orientation tonight A+ on how they put it together.
The ushers I will say this are super friendly and helpful!

Heh. We saw him with it on and sent him back to his cave to change into the new one, which he wore for the second half of the open house.

He had just gotten back from vacation, and didn't know the designs had already gotten out.

As I was walking down to get the locker room tour. I saw George Postolas(Rockets CEO) greeting fans as they made their way down to the floor. I told him what a great place Toyota Center was thanks to voters and Jeff's Save the Rockets Campaign. Then I told him I was a member of clutchcity.net and he said he visits as well. Then he said, "Yeah Right!" Does he, or Does he not.............post? I told him that Tim McDugal post there, were the true die hard Rocket fans go. He claimed, "Yeah, Tim does a great job."

I took my 5 year old. What a hit, that was, with Power Dancers. He got lets of hugs from Jennifer (at least 5) and 2 or 3 from the other ladies . They were all exclaiming how cute he was. Damit....what about me:D .

I asked them, at their autograph table, Who was Clutch the Bear's wife and they all pointed her out and chuckled at the same time.

What a great time we had. Free Toyota Center Inaugural Season Be Big Shirts! Free Food! Free Locker Room Tours.

The Rockets and Visitors locker rooms were close together but Van Gundy did not like the positioning of the doors. So he had them block the previous entry way, that was already built, and had them tear down bricks to form a new entry way. All this was still under construction.

Where did you guys get a shirt from? I must have missed it. :(

This open house was much better. Mainly due to the new seats Tim got me moved to (the free food was not bad either). The $37 lower bowl seats are awesome!

    Thanks Tim!

    Ohhhh,
I dont think Van Gundy wanted anyone to be able to see inside the Rockets locker room when the doors swung open!

    Good Job JVG!!!:D

    Exactly.

The shirts arrived late. They were inside the Red Toyota bags . They put up a table to the right side of the Polk Street entrance.

I forgot to add our tour guide for the locker rooms looked like Tina turner, she was nice but had a striking resemblance.

Anyone see the Rockets practice area? not quite done but looks nice although I did wonder how are they gonna keep people from hitting the windows outside, you know how kids can be or punks lol

Update: I have 15-20 Toyota Center Open House pictures that I was able to forward to my e-mail account successfully, but now I am at a loss for how to post the pics on the message board.

Anyone want to volunteer an e-mail address where I can forward the pics, and then can be posted by someone with more knowledge about that stuff. Thanks!

This is what I have. The pics at the bottom prove the Jeff Van Gundy locker room story that was mentioned above.

These days you have to have pics or it did not happen :)

This was the best I could do as far as the pictures I took last night go. It was a real fun evening and should be an exciting season in the new Toyota Center.

wow Great photos. I would have much rather gone to the season ticket open house than the everyones welcome open house. The everyones welcome open house was a mad house with people everywhere. From the pictures the season ticket open house was nearly empty.
