I agree. As much as I wanted this historic upset, that would've meant retaining JB and there's simply too much at stake this offseason. In retrospect, I wonder if we would've been better off had that Troy Daniels 3 never gone in in Game 3 vs the Blazers 2 years ago. The Rockets would've been swept had it not been for that shot. No way McHale(or JB) survives that.

Don't think they need an asset to attach to Ariza, if they want to move him. Possible they don't get much in return? Sure.

Les is proud we didn't finish below .500 and made the playoffs. It's possible that he was just putting on a happy face in public when he said that, but I'm starting to suspect he really is content with just that.

 

You're right, he should have a bead on his team and who will give him energy and effort and sub them in. Put in McDaniels or Harrell. Not to finish the game but to change the tone.

We'll see. They maybe have to take someone's trash in return. Ariza's contract is very reasonable and he's only signed for 2 more years. But man, he has not been very good offensively this season.

 

This team needs a total retooling save for harden. Howard, brewer, jones, terry should all be gone. Bring on JVG, a commitment to defense and team play and some legitimate 2-way players.

 

So based on boxscore since 2nd half:
- We didn't involve Dwight
- Klay went off, Green & Iggy are still not defended well
- Ariza & Harden not shooting well
- Beasley stopped hitting shots
- Brewer got more minutes
- Defense and hustle went out the door with Curry out?

 

many of those guys are quitters. and that's sth. i absolutely cannot take.
