Expected to see more people raving about DMo in here. His post game isn't really dangerous right now, but that's not really necessary. I just had never seen DMo have such a nose for the ball. 13 rebounds? Is that a career high??? Seemed like every ball he didn't grab he was tapping out. Pretty clutch 3 point shooting. I'm not observant enough to really comment on defense.

That's our own pick . The pick we would have gotten from dmo's trade is detroits .

Sabonis will be better than Dmo.
Although Dmo had a good game he is not the ideal pf that you want with this team. You want to get someone who would be able to consistently put up double figure scoring and rebounding. Dmo and Jones have not been able to provide that kind of production. I believe Sabonis will be doing so towards the end of his 1st season.

Sabonis is a top 7 pick. Would not have been attainable for the Rockets.

I still really dislike the way he taps the ball or tries to so often instead of just hauling in a rebound. A lot of times you will see him tapping it to a guard or just straight bobble it. This is what makes a player and team lose rebounds. When you are in position to secure the rebound, you go up strong and grab it. That's yours for the taking.

Yeah, anybody who doesn't get 20 rebounds is a loser. Geez, tapping it out to a teammate is a good thing.

Can you pls think outside of the box and pls do not put all your hope on the Beard who probably only has 3 years of elite play assuming he is not working hard in the offseason?

and if you roll with Harden, you still trade or sign FAs that should be better than DMo.

It is all about the contract!

If the Rockets are fortunate to have the lead next game, I would like to see them slow the game down and post up Donatas Motiejūnas if they are forced into taking contested shots on the court.

They have the big men to slow down the game and be patient, rather than step on the gas peddle all the time, and burning out the players and rushing contested shots during the game.

i love DMo but that was a brutal first half. Throwing the ball away, getting beat out of rebounds, ineffective challenges at the rim.

That being said, if harrison barnes is guarding him, you have to give him a few touches in the post.

Bad first half - good defense, but had 2 or 3 poor turnovers, and Harden had 2 with terrible passes to him as well.

He needs to come out better in the 2nd half - might be nice to post him up, at least once.

Trying to secure the ball when you should be >>>>> trying to tap it to a teammate

I am not expecting him to be a good rebounder. I do sincerely wish he would be a lot more aggressive about it. Hopefully he will get that confidence as he plays more.

One has played the entire game. One has played 15 minutes.

The comparison isn't close, nor is the impact one has on the game versus the other.

They keep trying to make him into a fast break power forward, slow the game when you have the lead to post him up, and stop trying outlet passes to your big men on the court.
