DT, you did the right thing by saying it when you were ready. No need to hold back, no need to wait. Only you know when you're ready. You two lovebirds sure must cherish this BBS though!
So what did you say in reply then? "Thanks." "That's nice, dear." "Let's get a pizza." "I like you alot." "Me too." What?
Dallas, you are the most adorable kindhearted person I've met in a really really long time. You and I like a lot of the same things, and some really different things too - which makes things interesting when you want to talk about the NASCAR points system. But all in all, I must say: I love you too, Dallas! as for anybody else out there who has seen me around, why didnt you drop a hint of somesort? JEEZ!
PREPARE FOR ROCKETS LIFTOFF!!! 5. DT- "I LOVE YOU" 4. MEG- "I LOVE YOU TOO" 3. DT & MEG - "LETS MEET UP" 2. DT & MEG HOLD AND EMBRACE IN LOVE 1. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!! p.s. - may all the good moments last forever and all the bad moments fly by
I signed up for this board just to see what the heck Meggo's blog was talking about... Meggo, Dallas, you kids are so cute! As for the actualy topic, I'm usually the one who jumps the gun on the "I love you." However, the guy I'm seeing now (Matthew) said it to me first, and on the night of our ONE WEEK "anniversary" which caused my jaw to drop and me to stumble a little bit, and give a very tentative "I love you too.." 5 months later, I'm not the slightest bit sorry for it :-D
I say I love you all the time. I don't say it with serious eyes, hands held, and sitting really close to the person I'm saying it to. Sometimes I do but yeah. But I'll just say it whenever I feel compelled to say it. For the most part if anything I get a cute smile or laugh from whoever I say it to, and an I love you back. It's funny but the more often I say it, it still doesn't lose it's vivacious feeling to it. It lights up my eyes and brings a big smile to my face. It's just one of those sayings that can make you feel so good just even saying it. I find saying it often while sometimes in a lighthearted fashion doesn't build up the moment so much as to holding the words back for those serious moments. In saying that, I'm still a bit clueless as to being able to tell when a girl is interested or not. Any legitamate signs to pay attention to?
This happens to lots of guys -- nothing to worry about. Ask any sex therapist. Your member will return to its normal ugly color within the hour.
I've only said "I love you" to one person - my husband. And I was the one to say it first! Actually I said it the day I was about to leave and not see him for 100 days. We had been dating for three months. I actually wanted to say it the week or two before that, but couldn't get the nerve up, and then I didn't want to say it over the phone during the summer. And now we're married! So watch out who you say it to....
Just to let yall know for absolutely no reason whatsoever.... Dallas has finally said it out loud. I'm very proud of him.
You know for a guy to say it, it takes a lot. I mean you could never truly understand what it takes for a man to stand there in front of a girl and confess his love to her. With that said, I hope you reward the fellow.
I think that Connecticut air has polluted your brains Riet. I was merely suggesting favors. Such as, if he is lifting something, give him a Hand. Jobs such as that are always easier with two people.
