Last Friday night, my buddy was at a club in downtown Houston and said he saw Steve Francis with MIKE TYSON and Van Excel. They pulled up in a Bently... which caught my friends eye. Then he sayd Tyson gets out first (tatoo on the face and all) and behind him comes Steve and Van Excel. My buddy says he's already met Steve a few times, so he was more excited about talking to Tyson. He told Tyson "your the greatest fighter ever" to which he responded, "Thank you." He said Tyson was short but swole as hell. He tooks pics of them together on his camera phone, which I am in the process of trying to get and post. What do you guys think of that ****?
I was at Bongos last weekend and the Police officer at the door got a call from another cop saying that they needed more security at M Bar because Mike Tyson was there.
Francis is trying to convince Tyson to forget boxing and join the Rockets instead so we can have a good matchup with Lakers ShaQ and Karl and we got Ming and Tyson. Rodman is a good replacement as well. Van Ex? I luv this guy. I'll trade Moochie for him plus Tito
I remember seeing Tyson when he was co-hosting the Jimmy Kimmel show. Ali Landry was a guest, and Tyson was all over her (like any other guy wouldn't be if they had a chance). Tyson sat right in front of her blocking cameras and the studio audience and proceeded to hit on her constantly. Towards the end I think Kimmel let out that Landry has a boyfriend, none other than Mario Lopez (A.C. Slater from Saved by the Bell.) Tyson seemed impressed, and stated that Lopez was prettier than Landry. The entire interview was out of control and unlike anything that has ever been on regular TV as far as I know. Tyson was hilarious, but all in all, he is one disturbed man. Heck, the Rockets should add a clause in Steve Francis' next contract stating that he can not hang out with Tyson.
OK, last Friday I was eating sushi at Rickshaw on Westheimer. My good friend is real close to Mean Green, you know the fat-a$$ on the radio. Anyways, my friend told me that before dinner he had been with Green and that Meanster Greenster told him that Tyson was in town to make a deal to fight in Reliant Stadium against Roy Jones. I know, I know, it sounds so stupid, but I must say this thread caught my eye and raised my brow after what my friend told me. I know that Jones signed to fight some light heavy too. Maybe Jones is random, but who knows. Maybe that maniac Tyson will pull off one of his fiascos in Houston. PS Does Franchise still hang with Rock Newman?
Tyson is infact in Houston. I heard it on Sports Radio 610. I think they said that they are trying to get a fight for him during/around the SuperBowl. Maybe that can be the halftime show.
Well, you gotta take your hand off to Tyson.....he's hanging with some pretty high profile athletes, and it may be a smart way of getting some support for his next fight. On the other hand, he may just fade into bolivian.
Tyson will fight Sopp from K-1 to earn some money. Hopefully Mr. Tyson won't be fired by Mr. Fancis after that.
With some of the Francis haters on this site, it's no wonder he's hanging around with Tyson for a bit of security!
After watching Sapp vs. Kimo on the last K-1 fight, I really think Tyson would beat the crap out of Sapp. The Beast has awesome power, but his lack of quickness and stamina will be his demise if Tyson fights smart. Sapp's record is only 7 and 3, and Kimo put a hell of a hurt on him.
