I believe this is the second time she's pointed out something like this, isn't? Either way, she's just making us look bad over one person's actions. There is one of those at every arena. This tweet achieves nothing, since an overwhelming majority of us wouldn't even think of doing that in the first place. She needs to report that to an usher, not Twitter.
Probably not..but I don't think it matters. She's not a game rookie by any means. She knows every team has their crazies. If anything, she should have left the team they were each rooting for, out of it. Thats offensive anywhere.
It's not right to flip off little kids who aren't doing anything insanely wrong.. It's also not right to for the kid to be a bandwagon fan.. when odds are the kid is from here....
Sooo... Do you think the assistant sports editor for the Houston chronicle is blatantly trolling the fans bc shes an out of towner?
This is a little like the actual game of basketball and what's called a foul these days, I'm like 'we used to just let that stuff go and play on'. It's not like they punched the kid. It's a middle finger. Something that used to be celebrated as iconic. Let it go. This tweet makes it worse because it's drawing useless attention. Middle fingers rule, Warriors drool. Go Rox!!! If we win the next game, pick the kid up, put him on everyone's shoulders and march him off to the after-party.
Are you really actually trying to get underneath KlutchQT's skin? She's a tried and true fan. Leave it be, Hideo.
I'd have to see the context of the middle finger to judge, but if the little kid was truly that young and the bird was given to his face, it's inappropriate. Being that I've been to a lot of games I'd have to think that someone around would have said something to the fan or at least not partook in berating the Warriors mini fan. Rockets games are typically family friendly other than a couple idiot drunks and there always seems to be someone around me with kids that would get offended at just about anything inappropriate. Texans games on the other hand... JDC isn't from HTown but she covers the team pretty objectively and is typically writing pieces with a positive Rockets fan pov. She's also mentored by Jonathan Feigan who does a great job and a great source for us Rockets fans. I do not think she's trolling Rockets fans and Houstonians the least bit. However I would tell her if I knew her to stay away from her mentions on Twitter. It's a cesspool for cowards who want to feel like they have power to make people react to what they have to say and crave attention.
Somebody tell this hating azz b!tch to take here Cali biased feelings back to the west coast. She's so full of bs!
Or does it even matter. One tweet from a troll so she can play victim. If she wants to call out Houston because she is frustrated the Rockets won she should prepare for shots coming back at her. You would expect twitter immunity if you turned on the Rockets right?
LOL 'this hating azz *****' is the Assistant Sports Editor of the Houston Chronicle. This thread started off as a joke, but so many lulzworthy posts here backing up the title.
Obnoxious for here to throw the city under the bus, enough just to mention that it's not cool to finger off a kid. Kitchen comment is awful.
If the person was an adult it was a crappy thing to do to a little kid. But who knows what the hell was going on because little kids can have some foul mouths these days and their parents don't give a crap about it.
little kids are complete immune to grownup scolding these days, its no surprise there are so many assholes. Then there the fact what was little kid doing interacting, talking with strangers alone without parents supervision? And if they where there why do they even let him interactive with strangers?
