for those saying ariza can't play D....man you don't know how to watch basketball.

did you not see his off ball denial and chase of klay? his effort was beautiful to watch. hush.

Can't fault ariza for that inbound so much, we were on the cusp of a 5 second penalty and what options did he have? This is more due to fact that our inbound movements take way too long to get anywhere. You have harden who has to wait for 2-3 seconds before its his turn to move and he's usually the target. It's our plays putting too much pressure on the time allowance.

It works in the regular season more because it's not the same defensive intensity as playoff games on the line.

I watched it and saw a guy giving effort but nothing special. I mean he's trying hard but he's basically a step behind on all plays defensively

Granted the Warriors run sweet offensive sets and cut better than any team. But you'd think after what 15 games over the last 18 months he'd be able to break up a little more of those cuts before they start.

    What's worst?

What Ariza did tonight? He had two chances to pass the ball inbounds and failed both times. He was this close to becoming a bad punchline.

    or

Lin's turnover in Game 4 of the 2014 playoffs?

Watch the replay..warriors held each time

Need earlier movement on the inbounds, don't just let GS stand there and have an easy grab

while i can agree that ariza is a bad inbounder, it can be fixed with player movements like a screen or a double screen

Exactly, but that would require an actual coach, hell even a highschool coach, but the keyword here is "coach".

Definitely Lin. His turnover actually did cost us that game and, as it turns out, the series. The Rockets survived Ariza's mistakes tonight to avoid a sweep, but they're still losing this series.

seriously, we could be up 2-1 if he took advantage of Harden setting him up for amazing looks

Is it JB's fault for not teaching these guys how to inbound. It is a play that should be run to death in practice!!!

Based on the benchs reaction and Arizas passing. I feel like theses guys wanted to lose. Probably wanted to go on vacation ASAP.

Unbelievable that they had no plays to run on both inbounds plays. The only possible way to lose at the end was to throw it under the basket and that's just what happened.

What's depressing is Ariza used to be the guy who stole the inbounds pass, not the one who threw it away.

To be fair, Draymond was wrestling Beasley to the floor on that one. Trev is not my fave inbounder, but lots wrong tonight.
