Why are they rebooting the series with the same actor?

Damon>>>Renner. I don't think I've seen one movie of renners that I've liked except for marvel movies and it wasn't because of his character, just don't like him as an actor.

 

Did you ever see The Hurt Locker? That was the movie that made people think Renner was going to be the next big star. Never really happened but he was fantastic in that movie.

I wasn't a huge fan of continuing the series wihout Damon, but I could see doing it for money and at least telling the story of a different agent it doesn't ruin the beautiful 3 movie arc of Jason Bourne...but now they're making ANOTHER Jason Bourne movie with Damon and I feel like there is no satisfying place they can take the character that they haven't already done. I LOVED the original trilogy. Some of the best action movies of that time period...so maybe they will prove me wrong and do something interesting. But it sure feels like a cash grab to me.

No but if they do, they need to call it a ReBourne.

 

National Lampoon's College Vacation (his first movie) was great. (Though he definitely wasn't doing a whole lot of "acting" in that role)
Naturally the aforementioned Hurt Locker was outstanding as well.

Haven't heard this song in forever, rizepped.

 

About time this movie came out.

I know Damon wouldn't return without the same director, and a decent script.

Looking forward to it.

 

I'm actually pretty excited. I thought the third one wrapped the series up pretty tight, but I'm curious to see what they do with it.

 

Doesn't look very special. Will watch though.

 

not bad, I always wonder why Julia Stiles isn't in more movies, thought she was one of the better young actresses in the early 2000s

Matt Damon is getting older and looks it. He still looks great for his age, but it's been years since the last Bourne flick starring Matt. I wonder how they'll handle that angle during the film?

 

If Harrison Ford can play Indiana Jones Damon can play Bourne.

Looks like they finally have a chase scene with Bourne that actually has a fast car.

 

Always up for a Bourne film. Even Legacy, though it definitely wasn't as good as the Damon ones.

 

Set the movie 9 years later.

I guess it's tough not to rehash stuff at this point. He has kicked butt in every way possible. The government has screwed him over and tried to deceive him in every way possible.

Not a lot left. Would be cool to get a movie of him trying to work a job at Home Depot or something.
