I'm a total Bernie supporter. But the rules are the rules and they didn't change once Bernie did well. They were the rules no matter who was running.

It's fine to be upset with the rules, but they weren't put in place to cheat Sanders. If Sanders wins more delegates, there's a very decent chance that enough Super delegates would switch to his side. If he won both popular vote, and Super Delegates, they almost certainly would switch.

Again we can all talk about how bad the system is, but it was the system before Bernie, and Bernie agreed to that system when ran as a Democrat.

No point in acting like Bernie's getting cheated. He isn't. Even if we all agreed that the system isn't fair, or that it sucks, Bernie still isn't getting cheated.

bernie sanders will never win the nomination. he has railed against wall street. he has shunned aipac. he is a threat to corporations and their paid agents in congress. just like trump, his ass would get shot in the street before they ever let him get close to sitting in the white house

What you are saying makes sense but I don't agree with it at all. Just because he ran as a Democrat doesn't mean that there should not be more than 2 parties in this country that have any chance at all of getting elected. His supporters have a full right to be upset about how super delegates work. It's a stupid system that needs revising. Even if it provides a buffer to bend the will of the general public to not elect a buffoon like Trump. There needs to be something like that in place. I don't have a clue what system would work best myself. I'll leave that to someone smarter that hopefully has a thimble full of morals at least.

Hey I did say I would urge those new young voters attracted to politics by Bernie to vote for Hillary.

Hey, Hillary is a woman, but it is too bad we could not have had a more principled women like Elizabeth Warren. Just because Hillary has been unjustly attacked by the GOP for nonsense like Vince Foster does not mean she should get a free ride about her hawkish foreign policy, and until recent support for things like private prisons, mass incarceration, the Patriot Act, catering to Wall Streeet etc..

I think it important for those who consider themselves liberal or progressive to realize how much the Clintons and the corporate Dems have done to destroy the Democratic Party of FDR to the point where many poor and lower middle class voters see no difference between the two parties.

In my preferred scenario if Bernie loses I would like to see him keep his coalition and mailing list from the control of the DNC and the Clintons and to use it to form an organization within the Democratic Party sort of like the elitists few who formed the DLC to fight to take back control of the party from the DLC/Clintons. Bernie should endorse Hillary, but it is vital to maintain his organization. Organizing should start immediately after the general election to be prepared if necessary to primary Hillary and work independently for candidates who are progressive beyond the Clintons and establishment Dems.

I would love for there to be multiple parties in this country and in elections. I also said that we can all be upset about how the delegate system works. But nobody should pretend it's something "trumped" up just now to cheat Bernie or anyone else.

That is worthy of its own topic. But it isn't an indicator that Bernie is being cheated.

There was and is NOTHING preventing him from running as a third party candidate.

Further Sanders isn't being screwed on the delegate count.

Anger stage of grief loading, should be complete by Wednesday afternoon.

Meanwhile I'm sure the intellectually dishonest pack of grifters that is the Sanders campaign will find a way to move the goalposts again after tomorrow. My money is on 75% win margins in CA and NJ. Sprinkle in plenty of Italian whine (surely they loaded up on some during the junket to Rome) about voter disenfranchisement and unfair closed primaries and we should be cooking in a couple of days.

Oh ... and for those who are paying attention, these hypocritical parasites are now accusing the Clinton campaign of campaign financial fraud. Why such strong langauge, you ask?

    <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr"><a href="https://twitter.com/gdebenedetti">@gdebenedetti</a> &amp; then there's this⬇️! <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/VettingBernie?src=hash">#VettingBernie</a> <a href="https://t.co/2lUqYchXuN">pic.twitter.com/2lUqYchXuN</a></p>&mdash; tnindy09 (@tnindy09) <a href="https://twitter.com/tnindy09/status/722156752662372352">April 18, 2016</a></blockquote>

But don't worry, run off to your keyboard now and send them another $27. Jeff Weaver thanks you from the bottom of his heart, truly.

No one ever imagined a system where a candidate could win a state by over 10% and still end up losing. Makes no sense whatsoever.

It will be a lot closer than the polls. Bernie is getting big crowds around the city and it's getting a lot of press. I am surprised in Brooklyn that the blacks here don't have Hillary bumper stickers - they have Bernie.

I think it's going to be a lot closer than people expect.

    Do you subsidize corporate welfare?
Bernie would like you to pay less.

Do we get a liveable minimum wage, universal healthcare and free education, infrastructure re-investment with job growth and resonable corporate accounting laws?

sign me up..... it's all related and you can figure the effects on quality of life evaluations without the full deal.

Are you paying Bernie's tax rate now? If not put your money where your mouth is.
