Actually I think whoever runs this joint should look into that. It'd be a good way for fellow CCers to spot each other around town.. or at ball games..
It's already been discussed.I forgot the reasoning on not doing the shirts though. I think it's because we are not linked to the Houston Rockets. I don't know, I forgot.
I guess I'm late getting in on this topic, but I work at the gym at North Harris College. There is a 5 dollar charge for visitors.
I went to UH to play some ball yesterday, and I found out that there is a outdoor court. You can play at there for free, and it will be pretty much empty at saturday afternoon.
Those courts are used by everyone. People lower the goals and dunk on them, hence the rims are all bent downward. you can still play on them, but it's kind of annoying whenever a line drive shot can go in. A big thumbs down to that.
So you are definitely going to have time to play on Oct. 4th durring your visit? that's great. how long are you going to be here? anything else big planed?
yeah definitely going to be in Htown in the 4th, have the plane tickets to prove it, leave next tuesday for a conference in spain, then a couple weeks holiday after that. nothing much else planned for my time in houston, just hanging out with some mates.
Just keeping the date fresh in everyone's mind. On Saturday, October 4th, at 2pm (some will start earlier) cc.net'ers are all playing basketball at The University of Houston Rec. Center. The link to the indoor court, court cost and all that information are already posted. haha I just hope someone doesn't swet profusely on the basketball when we play! lol cause I can't shoot an indoor ball for crap when it's even slightly wet... defense beware if it's dry
