For that reason I don't ever look at emails that might be a pain in the ass. Nor do in check my voicemail. I'll do that once a year maybe. Hearing "PLEASE CALL ME BACK ASAP THIS NEEDS TO BE RESOLVED!!! MANAGEMENT IS DEMANDING AN ANSWER!!!" from 6 months ago makes me laugh.
Couldn't connect from home. Made it to within 300 yards or so of my job but Harwin (and I thought I hated Westheimer) is still underwater. Back home now. Maybe I'll fap....
I barely made it over on I-10 before the freeway was shut down. Yes, White Oak was way out of it's boundaries. Watching the news, one Heights resident said he'd lived there for 50 years and this was the worst he had ever seen. I, personally have never seen it that bad, not even last Memorial Day. No idea how I'm going to get home as I-10 at Taylor are still closed due to flooding from the bayou. Also, to old guy who drove right into the river on Studemont going about 40 mph by the Krogers on I-10 (which floods when .5" of rain) and then fighting the guy trying to help him because he wanted to retrieve his phone, lol. Good viewing.
Where are you now? Both sides of I-10 are still closed at Taylor street and they have no idea when it will open. This was just on 790 AM. Parts of Beltway are closed and 45 North coming South is completely shut down so I can't even take 610 east Loop to connect to 45 then to I-10. I. Am. Screwed.
Was that the IRS scam call? I got that earlier this AM. I wonder how many people will call back, let alone provide the "IRS" their name and tax ID. Best part of the automated call is the "have a nice day" ending.
Check this link. 740 AM is saying most of Beltway west/north is closed as is Westpark. When I was watching at home Westpark was closed and people were sitting there for like 7 hours. http://traffic.houstontranstar.org/layers/layers_ve.aspx
Thanks. I got in contact with a neighbor and my house is fine. According to this http://water.weather.gov/ahps2/hydrograph.php?wfo=HGX&gage=HGTT2 it is only a few inches higher than it was last year. Hopefully it doesn't get any higher.
Just heard a guy on 790am who just got home from Austin. He took 290 S and then 77th south to I-10. At the San Bernard river only 1 lane is closed. Grand Parkway heading south all clear.
