Today when I cam home for lunch I decided to have a pizza along with some chicken wings. Well I pop my pizza and wings in the oven and come back THIRTY minutes later to find that the damn cheese on my pizza hasn't even melted. My oven was pretty warm but the light that tells you when the oven is on and preheated stayed on while the element at the oven's bottom was not lit up and bright red/orange (usually when the light is on this stays on until the oven is hot enough). When I turned the knob on my oven it went off at 200 degrees but never got past that temperature. Does anybody know what may be wrong with it?

you might need a new flux capacitor.

I would check the back of the temperature knob and see if there is a way to adjust temp. If not on knob, look at the oven where the knob would be. Usually there's some way to adjust temps.

Also, try gauging temp with an oven thermometer.

    good luck.

Yeah but the oven doesn't even work now. I think it might be the filament or element or whatever it is on the bottom of the stove that heats the oven because the broiler still works.

I think you may be right about the element. Those things go out all the time in electric water heaters. I'm sure they can go out in ovens as well. Plus, it sounds like you have semi-isolated the problem since the broiler still works.
