I honestly can't believe how rude some of the people here are. Yeah, granted, the original post wasn't exactly a masterpiece, and didn't even say why or how he knew this, but at least he's seen Yao in action recently, which is more than most of us can say. Frankly, ever since I've seen the pictures of a heavier Yao, I've been worried about his speed anyway. For some reason everyone always talks about how he's a 'quick' center, but I just don't see it. He's got a slow, non-existent vertical, and he doesn't move up and down the court nearly as fast as Cato. Considering that the Rockets trainers want Yao to slim down, I can only imagine that they too are worried about his quickness. I hope that the extra weight he's put on gives him that extra strength, but he didn't exactly look more muscular in those pictures...just bigger.
Um, no. He didn't even say he's seen him play in the Asian games. "Based on what I saw in the Asian games" could be zero, or 5 minutes, which amounts to crap. He's getting flamed because he's being r****ded.
Actually, it isn't common sense. Please explain more. It is possible that Yao is bigger, stronger, AND faster. From what I heard, Yao only gained 10 pounds. Not to be too graphic, but that is probably one turd for Yao. I mean, 10 pounds is only 3% of his body weight. If yao dropped 3% body fat through workouts and gained a gross 10 pounds... he could have gained 20 pounds of muscle.
Oh my god, oh my god, my twin brothers been shot! i think it was an asian gang or something, this was this guy, he looked asian! he was speaking in another language, im pretty sure it was.....ASIAN!
I saw a game during my stopover at Changi Airport in Singapore. This is just a personal opinion or observation. Too bad their games are not shown here.
