Ok a long shot. The GF was carjacked this afternoon in NW Houston in broad daylight. She is obviously shaken up but otherwise ok. They took her car and cellphone. Silver 2008 Toyota Camry, Plate#: FMB5196. If you see this car please call the police. Stay safe everyone.

Yeah called the cops immediately and put a lock on the iphone. They must have turned the phone off immediately after, hopefully it can still be tracked.

Damn! What happened to NW Houston/Willowbrook area. Hopefully these are the same guys involved (civic carjack, shootout at the bank, and op's carjack) and not a sign of a broader criminal uptick.
criminals aren't exactly the smart type. plus they usually go for easy targets like the cowards they are

Willowbrook? More like Willow-crook amirite? OP that sucks but glad your GF played it cool and gave the criminals what they wanted without putting up a fight. Usually that's when things go haywire. I hope they find the sobs.
Well this is terrible. I don't go to Willowbrook often but I do go to a store there on occasion since I don't live too far away. Really sorry to hear this OP. Just bad for everyone.
