Actually, from a historic standpoint, the reason pot became illegal in this country was because of some government official whose hand was being greased by the insurgent nylon business, made it so. Pot (which is part of the cannabis sativa family) was included along with hemp (also part of same family) as an illegal substance to pave the way for the nylon business to flourish.

    Weed is bad.

    Alcohol is bad.

    2 wrongs don't make a right.

One day when its legal we wont have to deal with discussions like this anymore, that is one positive for legalizing pot.

Just go ahead and make it legal. We all know its coming might as well make it as painless as possible.

I would type more but I must go grab a snack.

    ;)

I personally don't think there is anything wrong with weed. From a legal perspective I don't hink he should be punished too severley. I think from the team's perspective he should. Pot stays in your system for a long time, and could affect his perfomance on the court. He has an obligation to the team to give them everything he has got.

Oh please who cares its a little pot. For all of you naive people that think its bad think again, pot kills fairly no brain cells and should be used for pain.

now that i think about it, even though Chill Bill did admit to smokin' the weeds, i'm pretty sure it was the lysergic acid diethylamide-25 that really helped-out his game;) .

Apparently, you need a history lesson. Pot has been around and used as an intoxicant at least as long as alcohol and. If we are judging intoxicants by how long they have been used in society, opium would be the most legal substance there is.

Actually, all the kickbacks are from people who want to keep it banned. Prohibition is a huge industry that lines the pockets of a wide variety of fat cats, from CEOs to government officials worldwide.

The real point is that these are the most harmful and dangerous chemicals known to man and we have created a system where criminals are the people who distribute and profit from them. Regulation of sales and use would afford huge societal benefits and would save lives. More importantly, a strong system of regulation would do far more to keep drugs out of the hands of children than the debacle that is American drug policy.

The reason illicit drugs aren't accepted is because of the demonizing propaganda spewed forth by the politicians who run the drug war. Drug use and abuse should be a health care issue, not a criminal justice issue.

Don't tons of people profit every day off of illegal drugs? Of course they are not good for you, that is one of the primary reasons that responsible agencies should be the ones who distribute them. If a fully educated adult chooses to use that poison, the government's role is to make sure that person knows exactly what they are injesting.

I think that alot of people are going to be very surprised by EG over the course of the next year. I believe that EG is our PF of the now in addition to the future.

Why does Eddy need weed; he looks high all the time anyway, but I love like a step child.

I really dont think were headed in the Portland direction, but it sure would be nice to see some winning on the court instead of some good players in court....
